Cesco Clear Gloss Brushing Glaze – Earthenware 1000–1120°C – 500ml

Cesco Clear Gloss Brushing Glaze is a ready-to-use, brush-on clear gloss glaze for earthenware, firing at 1000–1120°C. It is designed for high-expansion hobby bodies and terracotta. The blue colour in the jar is an organic dye that makes your coverage easy to see on white bodies. The glaze itself is a clear gloss.

How to use

• Bisque fire your ware first, to a minimum of 1000°C.
• Brush on three coats, each in the opposite direction to the one before.
• Keep the lid tightly closed. If the glaze thickens, add a small amount of water.

Food safety

Walker Ceramics states: "Food Safe – containing fritted lead, but the lead release is within Australian Standard limits." Food safety depends on correct firing and your clay body.
