Sennelier Mini Oil Stick Set – 6 x 12ml

Each Sennelier mini oil stick set holds six 12ml artist oil sticks chosen around a theme. They're a great way to try oil sticks or build a focused palette. Sennelier oil sticks are made from pigments ground in drying vegetable oils, with part of the oil replaced by a neutral mineral wax to form a solid stick. Sennelier says its choice and high concentration of pigments gives excellent light resistance.

Draw and paint directly on canvas, canvas boards, laminated panels or paper. Use the sticks on their own or with oil paint, and thin them with turpentine. They dry within 2 to 5 days, depending on layer thickness and conditions.

Tips

• A thin skin forms on the stick when it isn't used for a few days. Peel or rub it off before use.
• Wait at least 6 months before varnishing, using an oil paint varnish.
