Workshop Details

Using the Coptic Stitch Binding technique, learn how to design and create your perfect sketchbook to suit your colour palette and preferred mediums. In this workshop you will learn how to select suitable paper stock, make signatures and sew them together in a hard cover sketchbook that lays flat.

You will create your own cover and matching endpapers using inks and learn how to adapt these new skills to make a variety of beautiful and unique sketchbooks for yourself or as gifts.

About the Artist

Pinky is a mixed media artist and illustrator based in Wodonga, who uses a broad range of materials in her works.

With a love for tutoring and a desire to teach creative skills, Pinky has studied Graphic Communication, Multimedia, Visual Arts, Millinery and Costume for theatre.
