Workshop Details

In this immersive workshop, you will create your own handcrafted art journal and learn a range of techniques to use within it for everyday sketching, travel journaling and urban and landscape drawing.

You will construct your sketchbook using Coptic stitching, a beautiful and durable binding method that allows the book to open fully and always lie flat - making it a joy to work in. Once you understand the basic steps, you’ll be able to make your own sketchbooks in any size or format, using your favourite papers.

Each book is a unique, one-off piece and a work of art in its own right. To fully enjoy and complete this workshop, good manual dexterity is required.

Follow this workshop with Amanda McLeans two-day workshop 'The Gentle Art of Sketchbooking'! Book your spot here: https://artpartsfinearts.com.au/products/the-gentle-art-of-sketchbooking-sat-11-to-sun-12-july
